All systems are go. Separation from booster rocket (aka, my personal blog) is counting down. (Can you tell I'm a big sci fi buff?)As far as I can tell Back to Basics is loading into Facebook and Twitter correctly.
Yesterday I came across a bunch of deals and freebies that I posted on the Facebook page. I don't post them here because most deals are transitory. They might last a couple of days or a couple of minutes depending on the company and the kind of response they get. I don't want people to stop by two days from now and be disappointed that they missed a freebie.
Posting Schedule: This week is really about getting situated. Next week, Back to Basics will probably post mid morning (CST). Although I normally like posting first thing in the AM, Twitter is crazy-busy that early in the morning, so I'd rather have the tweet appear near lunch time and miss the morning traffic jam.
My personal blog runs on Mondays and Thursdays, so for now, Back to Basics will post Tuesdays and Wednesdays. That'll give me a long weekend to recoup and write my posts for the following week.
Pages
Submit a Post: I'm already getting proposals from authors interested in appearing here. I'm thrilled by the response. If you're interested in writing for Back to Basics, take a look at the guidelines and drop me an email.
About Me: The obligatory bio and why I decided to start this blog. Good reading if you need help falling asleep. :o)
Basic FAQs: This is a grab bag of information. There's info about Facebook freebies, review policy for products, and comment etiquette.
Resources: This page will probably be updated more regularly than any of the others. For now, I've listed every reputable coupon web site I know.
Books: My bibliography. If you know me from my personal blog, you already know what I've written. If you're new, you might find some of these titles to your liking.
**If there's any information you think I left out, let me know in the comments or email.

Linky Love
Have you found a great deal or an awesome coupon? If you haven't seen it posted on my FB page, I'd be glad to give you credit with a link back to you.
Next week: We get this show on the road.

Everything looks good, all the links seem to be working, and I think you're posting schedule should work well.
Loving in the Puppy of the Day, though it makes me want to bring them all home with me :)

Thanks, guys! The only thing I wish I could change is where the comment icon is.
I know it's just moving the code to the right spot, but Lord, I'm afraid to mess with the code anymore than I have.
HTML breaks me out in hives. LOL.

So far I'm loving this site! You did a great job with it!

It took me a minute to see where the comments were because I'm used to it being on the bottom, but once people see it, it's fine!
Great job with it!

Holly, Angelina: Thank you!
Melissa: The comment placement trips me up every time. I guess I'll get used to it.

Maria, too many choices. Oh totally agree with that one, however simple life may have been years ago it still was not as "easy" as we have it today. But you know that which is why you and Greg are doing things the "hard way" *BG*!
Blog looks good on the pages, somehow someway though the comments have to get put on the bottom are people are going to run away because the comment box on the top just does not work well as you have to hunt for it.
(I know, make you break out in hives. Wish I knew an easy fix other than another blog template.)

Have added you to the sidebar of my Healthful and Homeade blog (not that I'm there much, but it gets plenty of hits).
Good luck!

Jenny: I'm sure a little snark will get through occasionally. :)
Jackie: I hate that comment placement. I tried looking for it in the code but it's got multiple entries and I can't make out which one moves it--or what code to use to move it.
Marianne: I was wondering why I haven't seen anything recently. You need to update it more. I love your posts!
